Imagination

For architecture firms in Quebec

From a 2D plan to a photo of every room, without ordering a single render.

Drop in a plan as a PDF or an image. Imagination reads it room by room, builds the 3D massing and produces a realistic photo from every viewpoint you place. Then an edit in one sentence, a video walkthrough, a before / after. Your clients see their project from the sketch stage.

What your clients will see.

Every image and video here comes out of Imagination, from real plans: a 4½ on rue Goupil, a two-bedroom house, a conference room, a site in Saint-Germain. Tap an image to enlarge it.

The problem

A client who can't read a plan still decides on the plan.

Renders come too late

Ordering an image from outside takes days. So you wait for a fairly advanced concept, and the client discovers the space once the choices are already made.

Every revision costs

A wall moved, a kitchen flipped, a finish changed: the render has to be redone. Iterations cost money, so you do fewer of them.

Professional time

Modelling in 3D for a simple meeting ties up a technician or an architect for hours that can't be billed at their real value.

The process

Five steps, and you stay in control of each one.

The AI does the slow work. You approve the geometry, the viewpoints and the text describing each photo before anything is rendered.

  1. You

    Drop in the plan

PDF or image. You frame the part to read; only that part is sent.

  2. Imagination

    Read the drawing

Scale, walls, doors, windows and rooms, in metres. A final check removes anything that isn't drawn.

  3. You

    Correct and furnish

Full-screen editor, original plan as an underlay. Furniture is suggested, and it stays yours to change.

  4. You

    Place the cameras

Where the photographer stands, where they look, which lens. Live 3D preview.

  5. Imagination

    Render the photo

The massing, a written description of the room, then an image model turns it into a photo.

The story of a project

A 4½ on rue Goupil, from plan to walkthrough.

Follow a real project chapter by chapter, with the files exactly as Imagination produced them. The edit in words and the landscape come from two other real projects.

The plan

The ground-floor 4½ at 1766 rue Goupil: one page of a rental listing, dropped in as is. Imagination takes the scale, the walls, the openings and seven rooms from it, from the entrance to the bathroom.

Built for practice

What an architecture firm gets out of it.

A reading true to the drawing

A wall only where a wall is drawn. An open area stays open. Walls are then straightened onto the lines of the plan, and anything doubtful is flagged to you.

A complete plan editor

Walls, doors, windows, rooms, furniture. Measure lengths and areas, rescale from a known dimension, undo at will.

Photos that agree with each other

The kitchen seen from the living room is the same as in the kitchen's photo. Each room has a finishes description and a reference photo that the other views respect.

Edit an area in words

Box part of the photo and write, in French or English, white quartz counter, black faucet. Attach a product photo if you like. A before / after slider lets you keep or discard it.

Residential or offices

For commercial fit-outs: open areas, meeting rooms, reception, lunch corner, with the office furniture to match.

The massing on the plan

An overhead view of the whole floor, ceiling off, standing on your own drawing. Ideal to open a presentation.

Video walkthrough

A route from room to room through the doors, up to ten rooms. Or a short film that goes from the plan to lines, to volumes, then to the photo.

Landscape and site planning

Pick a site on the map. Imagination reads the site and its terrain, you place buildings and landscaping on it, and you show the same viewpoint before and after.

Where it helps

Four moments when an image changes the conversation.

Residential

First meeting

Arrive with photos of the rooms from the sketch stage. The client reacts to a space, not to lines.

Commercial

Office fit-out

Show the open area, the meeting room and the reception before furniture and finishes are chosen.

Development

Pre-construction sales

Images of every unit type for the developer, redone in a day when the plan changes.

Municipal

Planning committee (CCU, PIIA)

The same viewpoint before and after on the real site helps people understand how a project fits in.

Measured, not promised

Times recorded on real plans.

These times come from our October 2026 trials, on our own test plans. A busy or hard-to-read plan takes longer; we will measure it on yours during the demo.

Beyond the volume

$1 per photo, $10 per video. Nothing stops at the end of the month.

Yearly

Two months free on an annual commitment.

Founding firms

A first pilot month at a reduced price, then the price guaranteed for two years for the first firms to sign up.

To compare: an image ordered from outside often costs a few hundred dollars. A month of Essential costs less than two images.

Your projects

Hosted in Montreal, built for a firm

  • Server in Montreal. Your projects are kept on a dedicated server in the Montreal region.
  • One account per person. Administrator and user roles, two-step verification.
  • Bilingual end to end. Interface in French and English; you write your instructions in either language.
  • Your projects belong to you. Export a complete project, plan, massing and photos, as a single file.
What you should know

A visualization tool, not a drafting tool

  • The AI reads, you approve. Check the dimensions in the editor. The images are for communicating, never for building.
  • One floor at a time. A multi-storey plan is read as its ground floor.
  • Consistent, not identical. The photos agree closely, not pixel for pixel. When the plan shows in an image (massing on the plan, film), its text is rewritten: shapes right, words and numbers wrong.
  • External AI services. Reading and rendering go through Claude (Anthropic) and FLUX (Black Forest Labs), which receive the plan and the images.

Bring a plan. We'll read it in front of you.

A 30-minute demo on a plan from your firm: reading, cameras, a first photo, then an edit you ask for.
